Martin Budny's work explores creative play within multiple realities and universes. He draws poetic narratives from personal and cultural experience to reveal the process of self-construction in a reflexive base of self-knowledge. His works combine a wide range of mediums inspired by common threads of lived experience.
Martin Budny is a Polish-Bulgarian Canadian born in Baghdad Iraq in 1976. He grew up in Europe and North Africa before immigrating to Canada with his family in 1987. Currently lives and works in Dubai.
2013 MFA Candidate in Creative Practice at Transart Institute based in Berlin and New York and in cooperation with the University of Plymouth UK.
